12 October 2010, Tuesday

Today is the SATA which is the medical test for the staff. Well, we are not part of that. I had a very tiring opening routine. Since the banquet ice machine has been broken down, all the outlets in the area of the main club house have to take ice from the Wheelhouse ice machine or worst from the S&R area. Of course, the Wheelhouse’s is not enough for the operation of all the outlets namely, Terrace Bar, Tavern Bar, Terrace and Wine Bar, Tavern, Banquet and Churchill. So, our last resort to survive the operation is the ice machine from Tangles and Squash. Using three ice machines for the operation of the whole club is definitely not enough. I wonder how we’ll operate for the dinner since the process of the ice production of the machine is kind of slow. Shall we outsource ice? I doubt that! Thank goodness this lunch’s operation is not busy.

We have the on-course for wine studies by 15:00. I did attend of course since there is free food. In addition to that, they will be giving prices for it. Actually, wine opener is the only price for the person who will get the answer correctly. There were two winners: Ate Maria and me. We just need to write down notes and that’s all it takes for us to win. Lucky me!

Also, it’s not a very busy day today. We’re also asking our manager for pieces of information that we need for the report. I just hope that they can help us with that. Aside from that, Betty told us to have an interview with Mr. Zaini for more accurate and legal information.
