I am totally sick today! I mean my flu has gotten worse. So today, Loy Fat (my assistant manager) made me drink some kind of medicine. He said that the medicine is made from Chinese herbs. It looks like a paste, so maybe it is made from different kinds of Chinese herbs. He mixed it in warm water and made me drink it especially the undiluted paste. It does not really taste bad, but, it irritates my throat. After a while, I feel a little dizzy. I knew that I should have asked for a short rest after taking the medicine. However, I feel much better after drinking the medicine.
Nothing much happened today. We only have a normal flow of members. Oh! Betty, my manager, asks me during afternoon shift to talk to her, with Karlaine of course, so that she will know what we have learned so far. She told me that we can talk to her during shift hours only when the restaurant is not very busy.
During night shift, Karlaine called my attention and then she grabbed me and literally dragged me to the kitchen. There is set of club house sandwich prepared for us to eat that is why. Well, I don’t have the appetite for a clubhouse sandwich or for any food.
