Since arriving in Singapore, today is the very first that I visited the Church. During split shift break, we went to a church in Novena. We just visited there because the mass will be later in the afternoon. We went there with Kuya Nato, a Chef in cold Kitchen who is a Filipino. Since we are also picking up dessert orders, we always see him and talk to him.
Today was actually a fun day. Bab and Karlaine are wearing floral clothes. Bab really looks like a tourist in her “Sunday” Floral dress that is ankle-length long. Then, after visiting the Church, Kuya Nato treated us to lunch although it was already 17:00.
I realized that we are still lucky to have a lot of Filipino seniors working in Tanglin. I don’t know if there are also a lot of Filipino working in other hotels, but we are surely blessed to have them around us and to help us.
